Terms of service

These terms govern the use of Nomina, operated by Reid Media Pty Ltd. Using the service means agreeing to them.

1. What the service is

Nomina measures how a business appears in search results and in answers given by AI assistants, and provides tools to manage that business’s Google Business Profile and related content. It is provided to marketing agencies, who deliver it to their own clients.

2. Authorisation is your responsibility

You may only connect a Google Business Profile, or ask us to make changes to one, where the business that owns it has authorised you to do so. You confirm you hold that authority. If it is withdrawn, you must disconnect the profile.

3. Approval before publication

Changes are queued and shown against the current value, and are published only when a person approves that specific change. You are responsible for what you approve. We will not publish anything you have not approved, and approving one change is not approval of the next.

4. No guarantee of results

We do not guarantee rankings, positions, mentions, enquiries or revenue. Google and the AI assistants decide independently what they show, they change how they decide without notice, and competitors act too. We guarantee the work described and the honesty of the measurement, and nothing about the outcome. Anyone promising you a position is guessing.

5. Our measurements

Measurements are recorded at a point in time and are accurate as at the date shown on them. AI assistants give different answers to the same question on different days, which is the behaviour being measured rather than a fault. Where we quote an answer we quote it in full and unedited.

6. Fees

Nomina charges the agency a platform fee per business location per month, in Australian dollars plus GST, billed monthly in advance. What an agency charges its own client is a matter between them and has nothing to do with us. Fees may change on 30 days’ written notice.

7. Ending it

Month to month, no minimum term, cancel any time. On cancellation we will provide an export of the account’s data on request, and delete it within 30 days. Any changes already published to a Google Business Profile remain published and belong to the business. We may suspend an account that is used without proper authorisation, or in a way that breaches a platform’s own rules.

8. What we will not do

We will not solicit, filter or route reviews by expected rating. Review gating breaches Google’s policies and we will not build it, on request or otherwise. We will not publish anything to a profile without approval, and we will not invent work to justify a fee.

9. Independence from the platforms we measure

Nomina is not affiliated with, sponsored by, endorsed by or partnered with Google, OpenAI, Anthropic, Perplexity or any other company whose products it measures. We use the Google Business Profile API under Google’s own terms. All trade marks belong to their owners.

10. Liability

Nothing here excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law. Subject to that, our liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the three months before the claim arose, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profit or lost business.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.
